Ngutunui 24th January 2009

At the recent Ngutunui ride which took us 53ks from Ngutunui School, up the Pekanui, right into Pirongia west road along the high mountainside and then all the way down to the river (great descent!) and along the river to Okupata Road, on Okupata back up the mountainside, and down the Pekanui again. Beautiful sunny day, cool and clear and not too windy, but a bit hot on that last ascent of the mountainside. 12 riders participated including 5 women.

On Andy's Farm Ride at Pureora

We rode up a huge hill on the farm along a high ridge with views of the entire Waikato and then came an endless downhill all on farm tracks.
