The Waipa Mountain Bike Club is an affiliate member of MountainBike NZ. MTBNZ is the national organization which represents mountain bikers in NZ and they do a great job! As well as visible events such as the National MTB Series they do a lot of behind the scenes work supporting local clubs and advocating for mountain biking up and down the country. |

The Waipa District Council has supported our club through its community grants scheme, which has provided us with funds to run a MTB trail workshop. We are currently working with the council to develop a proposal for a MTB trail in the Pirongia area. |
